About Us

Our staff is comprised of highly qualified, certified specialist with years of classroom experience and extensive training in their areas of expertise. Each educator is dedicated in providing high-quality instruction while fostering a supportive and encouraging learning environment. With a passion for education and a commitment to positively impacting today's youth through patience, guidance, and individualized attention, the GATE PM program provides enrichment opportunities that goes beyond tradistional learning experiences.

 

Led by our specialist, Mrs. Teresa Rogers, who has a degree in Early Childhood, Elementary Education and earned a MSE degree in Gifted, Talented, and Creative Education. Mrs. Rogers has extensive experience in providing enrichment opportunities and differentiated curriculum for all students. She retired as the Gifted & Talented Coordinator and Facilitator from Valley View Public Schools and then taught part-time within the ASU System. She loves to encourage students to discover their talents, while strengthening their social development, critical thinking skills, and problem-solving skills  to develop lifelong learning skills.  

Another exceptional educator is Mrs. Georgia Frego. Georgia enjoys working with young children and specializes in art and english/language arts.  She taught in the greater Jonesboro area, including Westside Consolidated Schools, Valley View School District, and Jonesboro Public Schools. Mrs. Frego provides guided learning and exceptional creative tactics to make learning fun and memorable. 

 

We are excited to have the opportunity to provide one-on-one learning experiences or small-group lessons, while supporting our students educational needs.
